I am proud to call Memphis home and have lived here for most of my life. I spent
my college years in Knoxville where I earned a bachelors degree at the
University of Tennessee. I returned to Memphis after graduation to marry, and
begin my career. After four years in sales and an initiation into the world of
executive search, I moved my wife and family to Atlanta and spent two years
with a search firm there learning many additional facets of this business. In
late 1984, we returned to Memphis to start up The Paul McDaniel Company.
Over the past 25 years I have been very fortunate to live in Memphis and to grow
a successful recruiting business. More importantly, my wife and I have raised
and educated four children now ranging in age from 12 to 27, and we have two
grandchildren. We consider ourselves extremely blessed to have all of our
family either still living here in the city or within easy driving distance.
My favorite pass time is spending time with family, preferably outdoors. Many of
my fondest memories and greatest adventures have centered around outdoor
activities, often hunting or fishing, first with my father and now with my
children. I believe that some of life's greatest lessons can be learned, and
taught, in an environment outside of city life.
My wife and I share and enjoy a strong commitment to marriage and family life.
We have a 12-year-old still at home, so school, homework and sports are still
very much a part of our everyday lives. We are active, involved members at
Riveroaks Reformed Presbyterian Church in Germantown.
